My name is Kenny Vestervelt
My name is Kenny Vestervelt and I am 50 years old. I work for BAC every now and then doing odd jobs, like putting papers into envelopes. And I go to meetings with Sedley and Richard, Richard Downes. I also work for a day centre.I do other jobs too. I do a bit of photography, I go all around and do a bit of photography. I like doing my jobs. And also I coming to be independent. I'm getting my own flat.
It is good getting your own flat, especially if you are like me, doing it for the very first time. You get too excited. But you get excited when you buy a house or flat. But people with learning difficulties, when they haven't done it before like anybody else they like to try things out like I am. So I will be getting my own flat but I am not sure when. All I know is that I will be early autumn or late summer.
I like listening to music. I like old pop music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and some from 80's. I don't like none from the 90's. And I also like classical music and Rock 'n' Roll. I have got my own walkman. I take it everywhere I go because it calms me down. What I got on me now is a radio and cassette. I have got blank cassettes that I put music on. But I am trying to get some proper tapes, but I might leave that 'til I move. Or I might get them before I move. My sister says she might know where I can get some from. So I'm going to try. Because I like my music. I feel lost without it.
